The Secret - Mise en Scene

We are going to be filming during the day, so we will be using natural lighting as the main scene is filmed in a well lit room. This will mean that the film does not appear overproduced because we want to normalise this idea of homosexuality in modern society, and so make the film as natural as possible.

The costumes are also going to be modern and natural to each actor's style as we, again, are normalising these people and their relationship. To do this, we are going to ask the actors to wear their own clothes, but recommend that they dress casually e.g. hoodies, jeans, t-shirt. We want the outfits to be as normal as possible in order to abolish the gay "flamboyant" stereotype.
